Introduction

Hopetech is a solutions provider and enabler for automated revenue collection, road telematics and secure electronic payment systems in the transportation and electronic purse sectors. Our core business is providing solutions for toll and fare ticketing system adopting the latest state of the art revenue collection solutions - either for cash, stored value tickets or electronic method of payments (using smartcards or transponders).

Our staff strength of over 40 personnel mainly comprises software/system programmers, assembly/hardware engineers and project management supervisors. The following are our range of solutions and services:

Hopetech has established itself as one of the key market players in the revenue collection system for toll concession companies. Our list of clientele includes the toll concession companies in the country. In addition, our involvement in the electronic purse application is recognised by our appointment as one of the certified system integrators for Touch 'N' Go, by Rangkaian Segar Sdn Bhd.

We are also involved in the automation of the registration process at the driving institutes throughout Malaysia, in implementing the directive by Jabatan Pengangkutan Jalan Malaysia. We have also implemented parking collection system and bus collection system.

During the past few years, we have expanded our market presence in Thailand, Indonesia and India.

In Thailand, we have completed the upgrading of toll collection system, and has been appointed by Combitech-Kapsch TrafficCom AG as their system integrator for Multi Lane Free Flow (MLFF) and ERP system. The appointment is a testimony of Hopetech's capability as Kapsch is the largest ETC Tag supplier in the world.

In Indonesia, we have successfully implemented airport parking collection system, in addition to the gate collection system for TransJakarta Busway Corridors 2 and 3 in Jakarta. In India, we completed the toll collection system for Swarna NH5 and NH9 Expressway.
