Depending on the door types, whether wooden or glass, a special locking mechanism must be introduced. The lock mechanism is normally an Electro-Magnetic (EM) Lock or Magnetic Door Striker.

The door lock will be connected to the door controller for the reader to trigger "normally open" or "normally close" function to the lock. It will be using 24Vac/DC, 2A power supply.
