INTELLECTS™ is an acronym for
Integrated Toll Collection System.
It comprises of a complete solution (hardware and software) for
the revenue collection of a toll highway operation. INTELLECTS™
offer more than just a conventional revenue system. It incorporates
management and operational functionality that will deliver flexibility
for any highway concession holder to operate, supervise, manage
and maintain the toll revenue function effective and efficiently.
This section provides the overview of the software application
functionality of INTELLECTS™. The sophistication of INTELLECTS™
is epitomizes in the application software. INTELLECTS™ software
utilizes full WINDOWS GUI. They are developed using Visual C++
and Power Builder. It runs on Windows NT® uses Oracle®
database. This is to ensure compatibility with other open system.
The system is design to handle both the open and close highway
systems. Base design allows the integration of Electronic Toll
Collection functionality easily. Modularity allows the customer
to have any combination of manual or ETC lanes or mixed lanes.In
addition to the standard lane peripheral offered, the system allows
the integration of other customized equipment. The system also
permits the integration of ETC solution from the vendor or products
of the client's choice.
The current version of INTELLECTS™ (version 3.5) incorporates
all the operational requirements of toll plazas in the context
of Malaysian operational requirements. These operational requirements
are typically not available as standard features on other foreign
equipment suppliers.
